Step 2 – Talk to Your Immediate Supervisor(s)

 

• Let your immediate supervisor(s) know that you are planning on applying for an open position within the company. This is important because we need to talk to your supervisor(s) during the process.

• Please Note – Your current job will not be affected by applying, accepting, declining or being declined a different job within the company.

 

Step 3 – Complete the Internal Job Application

 

• The application is available here and from the Human Resources Department (Linda Cline at lcline@dreyfuss.net).

• Attach your resume (if you have one) to the completed application.

 

Step 4 – Submit the Internal Job Application and Your Resume

What Will Happen Next?

• The Human Resources Department will gather the internal job applications and the external applications (if job opening posted externally).

• The Director of Property Management and the Regional Property Manager will review submitted applications and decide whom to interview.

• If you are qualified for the position, you will be scheduled for an interview. The interviewing panel will look at your qualifications listed on your job application and they must agree that you are the best candidate for the job.

• If you are not invited to interview for the position, you can request a meeting where we can review what you need to do in order to qualify for an open position in the future.

• You will be notified by the Regional Property Manager if you were selected for the position or not.

• If you are being offered the position, the transfer may be delayed until your current position is filled.

• Again, Please Note – Your current job will not be affected by applying, accepting, declining or being declined a different job within the company.
